Annual PlansThe requirement for Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) to create an Annual Plan in a format prescribed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) was first incorporated in the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. With the FY2010 plan year we are completing our third five-year planning cycle. The 2010-2014 plan document is made up of the following components:
Capital Fund spending priorities were reviewed with residents and a public hearing was held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. in the Housing Authority's main conference room after which the plan was formally adopted. The 2010-2014 Five-Year Plan contains an application to HUD to convert the form of rental assistance at Blue Mountain Estates, Parkview Knoll and in our 24 scattered family public housing units to Section 8 Vouchers. |
